Greetings friends! My entire body cannot contain its excitement over this news! My husband and I have had a deep passion for the sexually exploited and are thrilled to see people ready to make a change and meet a need in our local community. Many people are hopping on planes to Asia, Mexico, Russia and/or Europe to meet the needs of the sexually exploited when the reality is (in recent statistics) America is the second highest county in which this brutal injustice occurs. I have been going back to school with the ultimate goal of obtaining my PhD in Clinical Psych, with an emphasis in child and adolescent trauma, but at this point I do not meet the educational requirements for “therapist.” I’m curious if Amy’s House will be offering intern positions or if it would be best to apply for the CCW position. Either way, I’d love to be a part of getting Amy’s House “off the ground.” Please let me know if there are any ways I can volunteer my time in this process.
HI, My name is Alison Lammot and I live in Fort Collins, CO. I am a Trauma Therapist and specialize in working with sexual abuse and sex trafficking kids. I have just returned to the area and am looking for a chance to be part of a team. My pastor told me about Amy's House. do you have a need for a therapist or seminar speaker, trainer, teacher? I have many years of experience.
Thank you.
Alison Lammot
